I had a nice weekend away in Vermont, photographing a wedding and visiting my dear friend Abigail. The wedding took place on a private property with the most beautiful cut flower garden I have ever seen.

Abigail’s chicken Sophie, named after the artist Sophie Calle, comes when you call her name.

Oh we found the most lovely gallery in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  I was so happy they let me take some photos at their beautiful store. Check out the Peyote People Gallery site. I almost bought every single owl in the shop! Here is the first part… Look at all these lovely animals.

Yesterday I ventured to Chelsea to visit the two solo exhibitions by the artist Nick Cave. One is at Mary Boone Gallery and the other is at Jack Shainman. His work is a real treat to see in person. There is a really great documentation of the Jack Shainman show here on their gallery site.
